With this system, Omnipless continues to bring highly innovative solutions to the aeronautical satellite communications market, providing a high-level of connectivity for use in a wide variety of applications. Some examples being e-mail access, web browsing, real-time video and data transmissions, and high quality voice communication. 

The system is designed for flexibility to meet the varying needs of a broad range of customers. It is available in either 5 MCU two channel or 8 MCU four channel configurations consisting of a 2 MCU High Power Amplifier and either one or two 3-MCU Satellite Data Units in Master/Slave configuration. The SDU has an integrated Beam Steering Unit with GPS Engine allowing reduced box-count and system installation simplicity.

The SDU-7300 Satellite Data Unit has a unique built-in mini-server/router providing TCP/IP connectivity to four Ethernet ports. This allows direct connection to PCs with bandwidth management functionality, negating the need to install a separate router.
